Федеральная система фермерского кредита (США): кооперативная система, принадлежащая фермерам и фермерским кооперативам, которые выступают основными вкладчиками и заемщиками; создана в 1971 г. по Закону о фермерском кредите; разделена на 12 округов, включает 12 банков фермерского кредита (созданы на основе бывших земельных банков и банков среднесрочного кредита) для предоставления кратко- и среднесрочных кредитов под недвижимость, 12 банков для кооперативов и Федеральную корпорацию финансирования банков фермерского кредита (см. Federal Farm Credit Banks Funding Corp.), через которую выпускаются векселя и облигации на рынке капиталов для аккумулирования ресурсов; общее руководство осуществляется Правлением фермерского кредита, текущее - Администрацией фермерского кредита; для страхования обязательств фермерских банков создана страховая корпорация (Farm Credit System Insurance Corporation), для аккумулирования ресурсов путем выпуска гарантированных правительством облигаций - Корпорация финансовой помощи (см. Farm Credit Financial Assistance Corporation), а для гарантий по кредитам - Федеральная сельскохозяйственная ипотечная корпорация (см. Federal Agricultural Mortgage Corporation).
